How to Qualify
2. Play Online
You can qualify at participating Big Buck HD locations from May – October 1st 2017.
Find a location near you!
3. Compete (World Championship)
This year the World Championship Qualifiers will consist of five tournaments that span over the course of five months. You must compete in all five tournaments to place within the 24 skill based qualifiers. Your 10 best scores from each tournament will be added together to determine your overall rank! There is no limit to how many plays you can use!
Your ranks from each tournament will be added together to create your overall point total. The lower your point total, the higher your rank on the Main Leaderboard.
If you fall outside of the top 24 skill based qualifiers, you can still qualify to compete at the World Championship as a Wild Card. Reach the top of the Wild Card Leaderboard by building your overall cumulative score (minimum of 50 plays).
The top 35 qualifiers from the Wild Card Leaderboard will advance to the World Championship.
3. Compete (Ladies Tourney)
Don't waste your money, fellas - this competition is gals-only.
Male competitors will be removed from the leaderboard at the end of qualification.
The Ladies Tourney only requires participation in the Ladies Qualifier tournament. Your 10 best scores will be added together to determine your overall rank.
To qualify for the Ladies Tourney, shoot a score high enough to rank in the top 10 on the national Ladies Tourney Leaderboard.
If your highest score does not fit in the top 10, you will be ranked based on your cumulative score on the Ladies Tourney Wild Card Leaderboard.
If you do not earn a spot in the top 10 as a high score qualifier, you can still compete for a spot as a Wild Card! The top 22 highest cumulative scores will qualify for the Big Buck 2017 Ladies Tourney.
4. Watch the Boards
This competition will be fierce.
If you see your score drop, play again to fight your way back into the top 24! Alternatively, make sure your cumulative score is high enough to qualify as a Wild Card!
5. Check In
The online check in process will become available when the tournament closes. Hunters MUST check in to reserve their spot at the World Championship/Ladies Tourney.
In the event of a cancellation, alternates will be contacted, so hunters ranked beyond the cutoff on the Wild Card Leaderboards are encouraged to check in as well.
